Home from ANZAC Day

Arrived home safe from ANZAC Day.
The day went of without any problems, it started with a Dawn Service at 0428hr followed by a gun-fire breakfast at the Beaudesert RSL. Plenty of rum & milk not to mention the beer. It was a typically army breakfast, stew, baked beans and a sausage with an added hash brown. Funny enough it went down well. A game of two up started just after and went on till about 1030hr.

We all then went up to the forming up point to start the community service. The community service starts with a mach past by the local veterans followed by community groups such as bush fire service, Scots, schools and other interested parties. After the march past we all gathered for the wreath laying and playing of the last post, not to forget words from the God bothers and politicians. It's then back to the RSL for day of fellowship and
drinking. After a few drinks you all need Flack Jackets and steel helmets to stay in the conversations. A good day was had by all. I lasted until about 2100hr. when I decided I had had my fill. So I returned to the motel and into bed.
